Guardian provides trusted and dignified aftercare services for all animals — cats, dogs, birds, horses and exotics. We take pride in caring for your pet with the utmost compassion and integrity, and returning them to you as quickly as possible.
Our aftercare services are designed to efficiently yet sensitively help you through this trying time, while honoring the individuality of every pet. We offer the option to privately view the service, if you wish. Our condolence rooms are available for you and your family and friends to have a memorial gathering for your pet. On the day your pet is awaiting cremation, we place fresh flowers alongside them out of respect and honor.
If you have a special request or are looking for a particular memorial for your pet, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Whichever service you choose for your loved one, Guardian handles every step of the process with care, dignity and respect.
Pet Cremation Options
Individual Cremation
Our most popular and most eco-friendly service. With individual cremation, your pet is lovingly placed in an individual compartment that guarantees there can be no mixing of the cremains — something not all forms of aftercare can assure. This process is gentler on the planet and more environmentally friendly. Your pet’s cremains are returned to you in a cedar lockbox with an engraved name plaque.Pricing varies depending on the animal’s weight. Urn upgrades and clay paw prints are available upon request.
Communal Cremation
Communal cremation is a beautiful service option for those who do not wish to have their animal’s ashes returned. Communal represents community. After communal cremation, ashes are respectfully scattered at sea off the California coast. This is a beautiful service option particularly for animals who pass away who are unowned, showing them equal dignity and respect even in aftercare.Pricing varies depending on the animal’s weight. Clay paw prints are available upon request.
Place a Pet Cremation Request Online
To request pet cremation service and handle everything online, please complete our Cremation Request form below. If you need to arrange for one of our staff members to pick up your pet, you may notate that on the form. When we receive your form, one of our staff members will get in touch with you the same day to coordinate arrangements. If we receive your request after business hours, we will contact you the next morning.

We have many beautiful options to commemorate your pet for years to come. We offer a variety of urns, keepsake jewelry and more.
If you would like to upgrade your urn choice or add a memorial keepsake to your Guardian service package, please let us know at the time of your service request so we can help to accommodate you. We can walk you through the various options available to you and take your order over the phone at the time of your service request.
Please note that a couple of these memorial options, such as the custom clay paw prints, can only be done at the time of service.
