About Guardian
Established in 2003, Guardian Animal Aftercare is one of the most established, full-service pet crematories in Southern California. Guardian provides trusted and dignified aftercare services for all animals — cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, horses, farm animals and exotics. We are accredited and provide the highest level of cremation services as defined by the International Association of Pet Cemeteries and Crematories (IAOPCC).
At Guardian we believe that all animals — large or small, owned or unowned — deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We value your trust in us to care for your loved one. We take pride in caring for your pet with love, compassion and integrity, returning them to you as quickly as possible.

Modern Facilities and Recent Upgrades
With our state-of-the-art, modern facilities and private, comfortable condolence rooms, Guardian Animal Aftercare can fully accommodate your pet and your family. We are expanding on all fronts so we can offer Southern California the very best animal aftercare available.
Recently we expanded our facility to 15,000 square feet and architecturally designed the space to meet our specific needs. We have a larger reception area and brand new, spacious condolence rooms where you and your family or friends can comfortably gather to celebrate the memory of your loved one. Our expansion also means we are able to store pets awaiting cremation in the most dignified manner using state-of-the-art equipment.

Our Proprietary Computer Tracking System
Guardian uses a proprietary computer tracking system to ensure 100% accuracy and reliability, so you know where your loved one is at all times.
Our computer tracking system tracks and verifies your pet’s services from the moment they are entrusted into our care to the moment they are reunited back home with you. Guardian understands the overwhelming feeling that losing a family member can bring. At any step of the process, we can give you a moment-to-moment update of your loved one’s progress.
Our Carbon Footprint
We at Guardian, like all responsible businesses today, are very concerned about our world and the environment. Every decision we make takes into account how it will effect our carbon footprint on this earth.
Animal cremation is far cleaner than human cremation. Humans have more chemicals built up in their bodies over a lifetime, and are often cremated in coffins or other materials that introduce toxins to the environment. Pets do not. Crematory units also do not emit smoke into the environment unless there is a malfunction. They are heat stacks; not smoke stacks.
Our crematories are newer machines. They run on natural gas, which is a clean fossil fuel, plus O2 technology. They use the natural gas to get started, and switch over to use air and computer technology to operate as clean as possible. They use 40% less natural gas than older machines. We have been running clean diesel vans for the last two years for all pickups and deliveries. Our newest vans are either diesel or compact vans that achieve high mileage per gallon on the highway. We have installed glass bay doors, solar fans, and solar lights for energy reduction purposes, creating a clean, well lit space.

We take pride in being a member of the Cremation Association of North America (CANA); the International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association (ICCFA); and the International Association Of Pet Cemeteries & Crematories (IAOPCC).
